EXCLUSIVE CHARTER
Multi Day Exclusive Charter
Deposit of one third charter fee received secures a reservation.
Second third payment required 60 days prior to charter date.
Final payment required 30 days prior to charter.Day or Part Day Exclusive Charter
Payment in full or deposit of 50% charter fee received secures a reservation.
Final Payment due on commencement of charter.SCHEDULED CHARTER
Full payment secures a reservation.CANCELLATIONS
We reserve the right to reschedule, reroute or cancel a trip due to weather, customer safety or other reasons. If we cancel the trip we refund the time affected.EXCLUSIVE CHARTER
Prior to 91 days before charter, full refund , no cancellation fee.
90 – 60 days before charter, refund less $200 cancellation fee.
59 – 30 days before charter, 30% refund of total charter cost.*
Less than 30 days – no refund. **If we are able to rehire the vessel to equivalent charter fee we will refund less 15% or $200, whatever is greater, as cancellation fee.
SCHEDULED CHARTER
Full payment secures a reservation.
If customer cancels prior to 72 hours of trip departure a full refund.
If customer cancels within 48 hours of trip departure a 50% refund.
If customer cancels within 24 hours of trip departure no refund.SAFETY
The skipper is responsible for all safety decisions.
All skippers are commercially qualified and are Maritime New Zealand certified. They are certified First Aiders.
All vessels are Maritime New Zealand surveyed. They are externally audited to ensure systems and operating procedures are of highest standards. There is a documented maintenance program and all gear is maintained regularly.
Clients must inform Catamaran Sailing Charters & Launch Charters of any pre-existing medical conditions prior to trip departure.WEATHER
Overcast, drizzle or rain will not mean cancellation of the trip. We expect clients to honour their booking. We reserve the right to reschedule, reroute or cancel a trip due to weather. If we cancel the trip we will refund the time affected. For canceled trips we will try to re-book on an alternative day.LIABILITY
All care will be taken by Catamaran Sailing Charters & Launch Charters when handling client's equipment and belongings but will take no responsibility. Under all circumstances the client is responsible for their personal equipment and belongings.
